What is Triton Outfitters?

Triton Outfitters is a not-for-profit, student-run retail apparel store and screen-printing business owned and operated by the Associated Students (AS) of the University of California, San Diego campus. We are entirely student-run and student-designed to offer trendy apparel for all UC San Diego students!

When did it start?

Triton Outfitters opened its doors on February 9th, 2011 at the Winter Quarter Bear Garden put on by the AS Concerts and Events  (ASCE) office. The Associated Students first voted to approve the allocation of seed money during the Spring Quarter of 2010.

When are you open?

We are open during the regular academic quarters and typically begin selling Week 2. We are open weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10AM to 3PM. Our tent can either be found on Library Walk or Price Center Plaza in front of the fountain. 

Work hard, play hard: we are open 365 days a year on our website at to.ucsd.edu! You can place an order at any time online and have it shipped, or choose "in-store pickup" to collect your order at our storefront during operating hours. 

How do you come up with the designs on your shirts?

All of our designs are produced by the AS Graphic Studio (ASGS), a service provided by the Associated Students. ASGS also provides graphic design consultation for a wide variety of media, including print, web, apparel, etc. 

Can I help?

ASGS will occasionally be hiring new graphic design artist or public relations assistants. To see if they are currently hiring, check out their Instagram.

What is your return/exchange policy?

All sales are final. We can only accept exchanges for a different size at the time of purchase, before the item has been worn. For exchanges on orders placed online, please email tritonoutfitters@ucsd.edu. For exchanges on purchases made in our store, please visit our store during operating hours. 

What is Made T.O. Order?

Made T.O. Order is our custom screen-printing service! If you want t-shirts, sweatshirts, tank tops or any other variety of apparel or other merchandise printed on for your organization or department, we can do that for you!

How can I place an order of custom shirts?

Currently, to place a custom order, please email madetoorder@ucsd.edu with details of your order and one of our sales representatives will contact you within 24 hours to assist you with your order.
