What is Triton Outfitters?

Triton Outfitters is a not-for-profit, student-run retail apparel store and screen-printing business owned and operated by the Associated Students (AS) of the University of California, San Diego campus!

When did it start?

Triton Outfitters opened its doors on February 9th, 2011 at the Winter Quarter Bear Garden put on by the AS Concerts and Events  (ASCE) office. The Associated Students first voted to approve the allocation of seed money during the Spring Quarter of 2010.

When are you open?

We are open during the regular academic quarters on a staggered schedule. When we open, we try to be open for the full week, but sometimes conflicts occur. On the weeks that we do open, we sell from 10AM to 3PM. You can always look in the bottom right corner of our website to see if we are currently open.

How do you come up with the designs on your shirts?

All of our designs are produced by the AS Graphic Studio (ASGS), a service provided by the Associated Students. ASGS also provides graphic design consultation for a wide variety of media, including print, web, apparel, etc. 

Can I help?

ASGS will occasionally be hiring new graphic design artist or public relations assistants. To see if they are currently hiring, check out their Facebook page.

How can I work at Triton Outfitters?

Triton Outfitters is currently hiring associates and marketing interns. Check on Port Triton and the AS Website for available positions.

What is your return/exchange policy?

All sales are final. We will accept exchanges for a different size in the same design so long as we are able to do so. For exchanges on orders placed on our website, please email madetoorder@ucsd.edu. For exchanges on purchases made in our store, please visit our store during operating hours. 

What is made T.O. order?

made T.O. order is our custom screen-printing service! If you want t-shirts, sweatshirts, tank tops or any other variety of apparel or other merchandise printed on for your organization or department, we can do that for you!

How can I place an order of custom shirts?

Currently, to place a custom order, please email madetoorder@ucsd.edu with details of your order and one of our sales representatives will contact you within 24 hours to assist you with your order.
